Riccardo Cova

Riccardo has recently graduated in Bioengineering at the University of Pavia (Italy), where he also obtained his bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering.
During the last year of his study he realized he was deeply interested in computational biology. He recently joined Léo Guignard's laboratory at the LIS in Marseille for an internship to study morphogenetic events in 3D occurring during Drosophila embryogenesis. Riccardo will use deep neural networks to detect and track 3D cell nuclei.
