Ph.D. student
I fell in love with data science and statistics while studying for my undergraduate degree in Biological Science in UFMS, Brazil. So, I became a problem solver, model builder, and bug hunter to harvest the power (and quite honestly the elegance) of well-defined mathematical and computational concepts to elucidate some biological questions.
Other research themes that I am interested in are data visualization, open science, and responsible machine learning. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in bioinformatics (focused on computational and mathematical biology). Now I’m working to segment and describe lymphocytes during embryo development.
